How to Breed DONKEYS in Minecraft! 1.18.1
Drops[]
Upon death, donkeys drop:
If equipped with a chest or saddle, they drop those items. They also drop the contents of the chest.
Upon successful breeding, 1–7 is dropped.
Killing a baby donkey yields no items nor experience.
How to Equip a Chest to a Donkey
Donkeys are also capable of carrying inventory when equipped with a chest that allows them to hold 15 different items of your choosing, making them perfect pack animals at your disposal.
Keep in mind though that once you fasten the chest on them it cannot be removed from the donkey short of killing it. This, however, shouldnt be too much of a problem, since you can take out the contents of the chest at your leisure.
Just hop on the donkey and open your inventory to access the donkey’s inventory. If you equip a chest by right clicking on the donkey with the chest equipped, you can access the inventory slots of the chest.

If you locate a donkey and don’t have a saddle to move the donkey, you can still get them someplace safe.
Also if you don’t want to ride a donkey or are incapable of riding them through a very specific area or terrain, you can fasten a lead onto them and drag them through areas if you desire to do so.

The donkey itself can enter gaps as low as 1.625 blocks high, but may itself take suffocation damage when clearance is less than 1.75 blocks. They cannot fit through a 1-block-wide gap.
Unlike horses, all spawned donkeys have the same movement speed and jump strength, although speed potions can be used on the donkey and travel via the Nether can make the donkey easily the pack animal with the fastest practical way to travel in Minecraft. Donkeys are slow-moving backward, and about as fast as the player when moving sideways.
A ridden donkey can be made to jump and holding the control charges for a higher leap. Donkeys are not affected by jump boost beacons or potions. The standard dismount control dismounts from the donkey, as does going in water deeper than two blocks. Just like the player, donkeys take fall damage when falling from heights.
It is impossible for a player to use a Nether portal while riding a donkey.
