How do you make a Minecraft dessert?

Years ago the kids and I went to a birthday party of an older boy they knew. The birthday party mom had mad-skills and she made up the coolest buffet and dessert table. I thought it was so neat and so I told her “This is so rad, what show is it from?” Every mom in twenty foot radius stopped talking and looked at me like I was crazy. “You don’t know what Minecraft is?!” they asked. I shook my head nervously. “Don’t worry,” the moms told me. “You will soon enough.”

Boy were they right! Nowadays there is nothing my kids think is cooler than Minecraft and so I thought it would be fun to turn their adoration into sweets. So today we’re making a Minecraft Dessert, first in a video and then down below with the full details.

For this layered Minecraft dessert we made three different colors of Rice Krispy Treats. Since we’re layering them in a casserole dish you ned to make them in the order they’ll go. First up, original flavor (to look like sand). Start by melting butter in a large pot over medium heat.

Rub your fingertips in butter and then press the layer down flat into the bottom of your casserole… the butter will keep it from sticking to your hands.

The only difference for the “grass” layer is that you need to add your green dye to the melted marshmallows, after that just make it like you made the others.

Once you add your green layer and pressed it down flat allow to cool in the fridge for at least two hours. Cut and serve in cubes.

In Java Edition, to create an infinite, endless desert to survive in, simply create a new world, change the world type to Superflat, select “Customize”, select “Presets”, and choose the preset “Desert”, then Done.

Inside this village, you will find a group of small buildings with gardens of vegetables. Villagers naturally spawn inside of these villagers and grow gardens of potatoes, carrots, and wheat. When you are running low on food, you can harvest their vegetables for yourself. You can also trade with villagers to get rare items.

The pyramid is made out of sandstone, smooth sandstone, chiseled sandstone, and orange terracotta. Inside, you will find a pattern of colored terracotta in the center of the pyramid. Tunnel down to the bottom of the pyramid to find 4 chests filled with loot. Avoid the stone pressure plate in the center that will set off 9 blocks of TNT.
